What's to say? Still unemployed.
Gets me kind of down this time of the year.
Last year Christmas was ruined because i was fired from a job i managed to keep for almost 13 years, (a personal record for me).
This year Christmas was ruined because in all that time nobody was hiring.
Got some good news. was watching the news before and they said profits from the Christmas season were up from last year.
Yeay! Maybe now I can get my job back.
I wasn't actually fired. I was laid off with a promise to be notified when I can come back to work again.
I was told that I was being laid off because the company was suffering from the recession.
Same old story I know lots of people have heard before.
But I'm kind of suspicious of some news I got today.
I got a phone call from a friend who works for one of my company's biggest clients, and they said they've been sending work out almost everyday since before Thanksgiving.
I'm looking into that now. May take a few days to find out what's going on.

Invite for anyone
Hi there. Just saw this movie about a woman who creates a blog about cooking, and I thought to myself "Can I create a blog like that?"
Well, anyone who's tasted my cooking would probably agree that I couldn't, but maybe I should try creating a blog about something I do know.
What does an unemployed messenger, and struggling writer know about most?
Besides writing, and failing at that too, they know what it's like to be unemployed.
So, if you are unemployed and want advice, or employed and know where people are hiring, let me know.
